OUR SERVICES

Art of You Portraits provides high-quality portrait photography services. By booking a session, you agree to these terms.

PRIVACY POLICY

By booking a session with Art of You Portraits, you grant us permission to use images from your session for portfolio, marketing, promotional materials, social media, and website display.

If you prefer not to have your images used, you must submit a written request before or during your session.
We do not tag or identify clients in images unless requested.
Your personal and payment information is kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties, except as necessary to process transactions.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

We do not photograph individuals under 18 without a legal guardian present—no exceptions.

A valid ID is required for age verification at the session.
We reserve the right to refuse service without proof of age.

STUDIO POLICIES

To ensure a safe and professional environment, the following policies apply:

🚫 No Pets or Animals – We do not allow pets or animals inside the studio. No exceptions.
🚫 No Weapons – Firearms, knives, and any other weapons are strictly prohibited on our premises.
🚫 No Drugs, Illegal Paraphernalia, or Smoking – The use or possession of drugs, illegal substances, or any form of smoking (including vaping) is strictly prohibited inside the studio and on studio property.
🚫 No Personal Cameras or Cell Phones – Personal photography, including cell phone pictures, is not permitted during sessions.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates these policies.

COPYRIGHT

All images taken by Art of You Portraits are protected under copyright law.

It is illegal to copy, edit, reproduce, scan, or print photos without permission.
Digital files and prints must be purchased directly from Art of You Portraits to maintain quality and presentation.

SESSION RETAINER

A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session date.

This fee applies toward your session balance.
If you cancel or breach the contract, the retainer is not refundable.
No date is reserved until the retainer is received.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

We understand that plans change. If you need to reschedule:

48+ hours notice: No penalty, we will move your session.
Less than 48 hours: A fee equal to your booking deposit applies.
Late arrivals (15+ minutes): Your session may be shortened or rescheduled with a fee.
Weather-related cancellations will be rescheduled at no extra cost.
In genuine emergencies, your deposit may be credited toward a future session.

AFFILIATE LINKS

Art of You Portraits, or any of its team members, is not responsible for the content, products, or services of any affiliate sites linked through our website or communications.

We do not guarantee the quality or reliability of affiliate products.
Users assume all risks associated with using affiliate links.

CREATIVE LICENSE

We carefully select and edit images that meet our professional standards.

Not all images taken during the session will be included in the final selection.
Edits are made at the photographer’s discretion.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Due to the custom nature of our work:

No refunds, returns, or exchanges are allowed once products (prints or digital files) are delivered.
No digital files will be released until full payment is received.

LIABILITY & WARRANTIES

Art of You Portraits is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damage to personal belongings during the session.
No warranties are provided—clients assume all risks when using our services.

GOVERNING LAW; VENUE

These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas. Any legal disputes must be resolved in Austin, TX.
